Meet the Millsboro Office Doctors
Ping Wang, D.M.D.
Dr. Ping Wang was born and raised in China where she attended school and received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and PhD in Dental Implantology and Bio Materials. She completed a Dental Implantology Residency at the West China School of Stomagology before joining the International Team for Implantology (ITI) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Shortly after, she moved to the United States and graduated from Temple University where she earned her D.M.D degree and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency. She has a wealth of experience as an Assistant Professor at Temple University and as an Associate Dentist at dental practices in the surrounding area.
Dr. Wang has received many awards and recognition over the years for her outstanding work. Most notably she was recognized by the Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society and received the Case Presentation Award for Excellence in 2019. She was also awarded first place in Science in Dental Practice and the Dean’s Award for the Senior Student who Provided the Most Clinical Care in 2019 from Temple University. Most recently, the Academy of Osseointegration (AO) awarded her the first place E-poster Award of 2021 at their annual meeting.
Dr. Wang is an active member of the (OKU) National Honor Dental Society, AO, and ITI. She has been an ITI Fellow since 2019. She has shared her passion for dentistry by leading numerous lectures for continuing education in Philadelphia and the surrounding area.
Dr. Wang enjoys treating patients in all aspects of comprehensive dental care and strives to provide gentle, friendly dentistry in a comfortable environment using modern techniques, quality materials, and working with experienced, dedicated staff.

Erik Hansen, D.M.D.
Dr. Erik Hansen is dedicated to providing patient-centered care that’s both compassionate and evidence-based. He earned his bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University and went on to graduate summa cum laude from Temple University with his Doctor of Dental Medicine. He completed a General Practice Residency at Christiana Care, where he received advanced clinical training in a variety of dental procedures.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, and is looking forward to expanding his continuing education through the SPEAR Study Club. Dr. Hansen has special interests in implant surgery and cosmetic dentistry, and his clinical skills include restorative care, Botox, extractions, and mild sedation.
Patients appreciate Dr. Hansen’s gentle approach, his commitment to staying current with dental advancements, and his focus on creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, daily exercise, cooking, and giving back through community outreach. He also loves visiting the Delaware beaches and spending time with family and friends in his hometown of Middletown.
